I am Lyn Blackledge, (an ex teacher) and have been selling children's books for 17 years.I have sold for various publishers but now have a variety and am adding to the range as and when I discover gorgeous new books. I am having a lot of fun and making a lot of friends. I also run other businesses from home so basically I have my own big department store! I am an Ambassador for Barefoot books and a distributor for Child's Play books. I have recently become a distributor for Wikaniko - (helping people take small green steps to save the Earth without costing the Earth) http://lynsgreenbiz.co.uk I also enjoy helping people save money on their essential household bills (http://lynsutilitybiz.co.uk) I am also a Rotarian and am a past president. - motto service above self and I love helping to fundraise for charity as well as enjoying the camaraderie of the Vectis sunrise group. I have the responsibility of being a carer for my mum and at the other end of the scale I am granny to Charlotte, Nicola and Jennifer. As you can see I am quite busy but I love it and enjoy life to the full.

Oh what a late night!

Angela and Helen (members of my Usborne team) and I have been out to play tonight!! Well actually we went to Guildford to an Usborne training run by Val Knight. Her trainings are excellent and packed full of useful information. I was so inspired I engaged the guy in the liphook service station in conversation and he is now interested in joining our home based business and becoming an Usborne representative. On the ferry boat home, I challenged |Angela and Helen to give out an Usborne leaflet which they did. We do have a lot of fun whilst building our businesses. Got to load the van now as I have an event at the college tomorrow after my Rotary breakfast and i completely forgot to load the van before I went out. I wonder if can load quietly at 2 in the morning without waking the entire estate!! I’ll let you know.
